HOW TO: BIALETTI MOKA

Ciao, bella! Looking for a velvety cup of espresso and going old school? The Bialetti Moka is a great option, and it is as easy to use as it is fun to say. Our quick instructions are below.

First, fill the lower chamber of the Moka with cold water until the water is just below the valve. Drop in the funnel, and fill the funnel with ground espresso. Don't press down on the grounds, just let them sit as they may when you fill the funnel.
Make sure that no grounds are on the edge of the funnel, and then tightly screw the top part of the pot onto the base. Set the pot over a burner and turn the burner on to medium-high, making sure that the flame is not coming up the sides of the pot. Let the pot come to a boil, then turn off the burner. At this point, the coffee will be filling the top of the pot. Once it's done brewing, give the coffee a little stir with a spoon, then pour it into your espresso cups and raise your biscotti high.
