How to Review a Roast

Let's face it. If you've checked out The List, you know there are hundreds of roasters out there, each with multiple products for sale, and barely any coffee has a "review" associated with it. So the big question is: What's good? We have always believed in trusting friends for recommendations on beer, wine, restaurants, etc. Similarly, we think it makes sense to have a platform for you to say what you thought about the coffee you purchased, which in turn can help others make their decisions on what to buy.

That stated, there have to be some ground rules to ensure that reviews are thoughtful and helpful to your fellow coffee drinkers. We promise this won't be too intense, but we do need some consistency in order for folks to be able to learn from your constructive recommendations. Ok, so here are the basics.
