Review #1: Isely Coffee Roasters

August 29, 2017

Welcome to The Cortado's inaugural coffee review!

Our plan is to have this be a weekly installment to help our readers discover new roasters and great craft coffee. The reviews are entirely based on our palate, so the flavor profiles may vary from any "official" listing on a roaster's website, and our enjoyment may differ from your own. What we can guarantee is that we will be candid in our assessment, and we hope you find some new favorites as a result of our posts. Also, we will be copying this review over to our Community Coffee Review section, and we welcome you to add your own reviews of roasts you try. With that stated, on to our review of Isely Coffee Roasters!

Overall Impression (What did you think of it? Anything else we should know?): We were surprised by how complex this coffee was, and in a good way. This was an excellent cup to have in the morning, but likely would be great any time of day. Moreover, it's at a fantastic price point compared to other craft coffee of this caliber. Highly recommended.

Final Score (1-10, with 10 being the best cup of coffee in your life): 8.
